For many years I have had quite the reputation as a great gift giver.  Friends and family often ask for advice and ideas for the upcoming gift needs.  I can spend weeks scouring the internet and shops for the perfect gift that will  bring great joy and happiness. That smile, that look of surprise and glee, is the best gift of all.  That's what its all about.

Over the years I have collected more gift ideas and inspiration than I could possibly give in a lifetime.  It Was a Gift is a way for me to keep track of them and share them with others.
